Our Commitment to Your Health & Safety
The health and safety of our guests and team members is something that we have always taken seriously. In today’s environment we understand that this is even more important to our guests and team members. We know you depend on the staff at Desert Sun Resort to keep a safe and clean environment for you to rest, relax, and enjoy. We value the trust you place in us each time you visit.
The following measures will be implemented throughout the property:
Guests are required to wear masks in public indoor spaces. Masks will not be required outside or while using the fitness center.
A contactless temperature screening will be required for all staff team members, and guests checking in. Team members and guests with temperature readings above 100.4 will not be admitted.
Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available for our guests at the front desk and in our restaurant.
Stay-over housekeeping services will be available by request only.
Guests can check out remotely from rooms by dialing zero from your room telephone. Keys, pool towels, and gate remote (if applicable) can be left in your room, and the folio can be emailed directly to you.
Lounge chairs and restaurant tables/chairs have been spaced out to encourage social distancing.
As for Housekeeping, we will continue to thoroughly sanitize each room, surface, etc. to ensure we maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation throughout the resort.
EMPLOYEE HEALTH & SAFETY
Our team members are required to complete a COVID-19 symptoms questionnaire and sign off before beginning their work shift. In addition, we have implemented a mandatory temperature check before the start of their shift. Employees registering any symptoms will not be permitted to work.
We have conducted a COVID19 training for all our employees that included: proper hand washing techniques, recommendations for avoiding hand touching, and physical distancing practices.
Our team will also be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
GUEST ACCOMMODATIONS & PUBLIC SPACES
Desert Sun Resort uses cleaning products and protocols which meet EPA guidelines, and that are approved for use against viruses, bacteria, and other airborne and blood borne pathogens. This includes the use of hospital-grade disinfectants.
Our cleaning and sanitizing applications have been increased in all public areas with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces.
