Allure magazine has celebrities pose nude so that the average women can identify with their nervousness to be naked even if they have no figure flaws in the normal person’s eye. Most of the celebrities say that they were self-conscious about doing the nude shoot. It seems that all women have body issues even super models.

Allure promotes that confident women are those who are willing to bare it all and one thing is in common for every celebrity that sheds her clothes in Allure magazine’s next issue, they all say that they feel better about themselves and more comfortable in their own skin after doing the shoot. I think that is the exact same feeling that guests have after their first experience at a clothing optional resort.

Maria Menounos, from Dancing with the Stars, admits that she “has some serious issues about her body. But I want to get over that.”

At 43, Debra Messing's decision to pose nude came from a natural process of self-acceptance. "Once you have a child, once you pass 40, you have a different relationship with your body," she said. "I love my body in a way I never have before."

Heidi Klum says it all in the interview about the shoot. “You just need to be comfortable in your own skin but I am a nudist in any case. I have never had a problem with my body and I don’t really care about what people think.” She said the nude pictures do not bother her in the slightest.

I think that when women first consider the idea of going on a clothing optional vacation, they think that they will be judged on their body. What they find is that being a nudist and enjoying a clothes free vacation is about being free and accepting who you are not what you look like.

I feel more comfortable in my own skin as a 40 something than I ever did in my twenties because of my experience at Desert Sun Resort. I am forever grateful for that and I love it when a first time visitor comes up to me and professes her new found confidence in her own body.

The theme for this year is "A World of Wines"-It presents the question of whether we may be overly influenced by the critics in terms of them telling our minds what we like as opposed to us being able to distinguish it ourselves.

   Im sure it’s no surprise that France tops this list. Montalivet beach claims to be the start of the nudist movement back in the 1950’s. This resort on the Atlantic coast of France offers a safe environment to go camping and enjoy the beach free of clothes and legal authorities. Many consider this the top nudist spot for families.
2. Samurai Beach, Port Stephens, Australia.
   The Summer Olympics come only once every four years. The Nude Olympics are a yearly event held in November on Austrialia’s east coast. Samurai Beach was one of the first legal nude beaches down under. Warm weather year round make this a fun and always busy spot for nudists.
3. Praia do Pinho, Cambori, Brazil.
   Its hard to keep Brazil off any list involving shortage of clothing. Praia do Pinho takes the #3 spot on our list. Shockingly, the first legal nude beach in Brazil was founded in 1987. With all the warm weather and tan bodies, this is a year round hot-spot for naturalists.
4. Red Beach, Crete, Greece.
   With ancient Greek ruins visiting Red Beach is like a naked walk through time. Red Beach is highlighted by the epic cliffs, cottages and crystal clear water. Nudity is permitted nearly everywhere except for inside restaurants.
5. Playa d’en Bossa - Ibiza, Spain.
   Playa d'en Bossa is covered with 4* & 5* hotels, restaurants and night clubs. Not only was is it one of the top nudist beaches in the world, it’s very accommodating as well. Ibiza is very accepting of nudist and the beautiful blue water and fine sandy beaches make this great backdrop to a nudist vacation.

1. Blacks Beach, San Diego, Calif.
   Nestled in between the world famous “Torrey Pines” golf course and the Hollywoodesque La Jolla, Blacks beach rests against the stunning high rock cliffs of the San Diego coastline. This stunning natural masterpiece is not just a haven for naturalists. The big waves draw many surfers as well.
2. Haulover Beach , Miami, FL.
   The word “Miami” instantly brings thoughts of sunshine, beautiful beaches and minimal clothing. This beach is popular with nudists as well as scantily (or normally dressed for Miami) dressed beach goers. Sand that’s soft to the touch & crystal clear waters make this a favorite nude beach.
3. San Gregorio, San Mateo, Calif.
   Founded in 1967, this northern California nudist spot boasts its title of “Oldest Nude Beach” in the US. This small private beach does charge a nominal fee for entry but is much less populated than many others on our list.
4. Little Beach, Maui, HI.
   This beach enclosed by volcanic rock was a popular destination for hippies in the 60’s and now is a top nudist beach. Little Beach also offers exceptional snorkeling and swimming. Expect a bit of a hike from your car to this incredible spot.
5. Wreck Beach, Vancouver, BC, Canada (We know this isnt a nudist beach in the U.S. but its close enough)
   Yes, there are nude beaches on Canada also.  Wreck Beach is located at the bottom of the cliffs on the most western point of Vancouver (Point Grey), on UBC campus. It's the only place in Vancouver where you can look out and see absolutely no signs of civilization- you feel like you're on an isolated island hundreds of miles away. The crowd is welcoming without being obtrusive.
